Mononykus
These charming Mononykus are inspired by the design seen in the ‘Deserts’ episode of Prehistoric Planet, in which it sported an owl-like facial disc to enhance its hearing, used its single-clawed arms to excavate its termite dinner, and was the cutest and best dinosaur.
These Mononykus are made with super soft faux fur and minky, filled with polyester stuffing and weighted with plastic beans in the tummy, tail, and feet. Their long faces are finished with a hand embroidered smile and carefully applied marker ‘eyeshadow’ and throat speckles. The beige colouration is true to their TV appearance, while the pink variant is just having a little Valentine’s fun with a heart shaped tail fan!
